But now my controller is listed as 'XINPUT compatible HID device' again. After putting the adapter in a different port it was succesfully installed and I could connect my controller. I already installed the latest firmware on the controller and removed the Xbox 360 wireless receiver drivers.Įdit: So I reinstalled Windows 10 and it recognized the adapter but there was a yellow triangle. But when I try to connect it to the pc it won't connect. There were still some issues but after updating the drivers to 'Microsoft Xbox One controller' everything worked fine.īut that isn't what I paid for. It now was registered as 'Xbox One controller' in its own subfolder in device manager.

I then connected the controller via micro USB to the pc. I managed to find drivers for that and even got my controller connected.īut there were some issues within games and I looked in device manager and under HID it said: 'XINPUT compatible HID device' which I found out was my controller. I first had problems with drivers and the receiver. It should be plug and play with windows 10 but of course it's not. So I got a Xbox One wireless controller (v2) with adapter to replace my 360 controller.
